Cimbar, City of Scrolls Cimbar is the largest, the most learned, and possibly the most powerful city in Chessenta. It holds the oldest, most continuous center of learning in any city excepting Skuld in Mulhorand. It has never been sacked by an invading army. The city is currently at odds with the combined alliance of Airspur, Soorenar, and Lutcheq. The ruler of the city calls himself the Sceptanar, which is what the only ruling King of Chessenta, Tchazzar, called himself when he united the country three centuries ago. Most other cities take offense at the name, and would like to relieve him of that title. There is a cult to Tchazzar here that actively prays for his return.
