The Earthfast Mountains (or simply the Earthfasts) mark the western border in the south of Impiltur in northeast Faerûn with the Vast, to the west, in North Faerûn. They are jagged and only slightly less harsh than the Earthspur Mountains to the north. Although there are deposits of iron and silver here, the environments poor conditions means that only a few mines exist.

The Hill of Tombs is the southernmost point in the mountain range, near the coast of the Sea of Fallen Stars. Fire River originates in these mountains and flows west through the Vast into the Dragon Reach.
