The caster becomes able to reshape non-magical stone (excluding gemstones) using the tip of his finger. For the spell's duration, the caster can draw, write or etch symbols, runes, messages and the like into solid stone as if it were as dense as mud. The depth of the etchings cannot exceed 1/2". The changes become permanent when the spell expires. Due to the nature of this spell, detailed engraving is not possible by means of this spell.
